How to apply
Admission to the MBI program is processed in 4 steps:

Electronic application
Please fill out the application form and submit it. The questions in the form cover all relevant information we need for your admission. Print copies for your own records, and for the next step. In addition, submit
- Photo, not older than 3 months (jpg or gif file)
- Curriculum vitae (MS Word or pdf file)
- Personal statement (MS Word or pdf file): In a clear, thoughtfully prepared short essay (about 500 words), introduce yourself and present the reasons why you wish to study International Business Informatics at VGU. Tell us about your strengths and special interests that may not be evident from other material you submit. Explain why you are a strong candidate for this program, what you consider your intellectual assets and what your future goals are.

Document submission
For legal reasons we need a printed version of the application form signed by you. Please sign the printout of the electronic form from the previous step. Mail the signed form together with copies of the following documents to the address provided in the form:
- Bachelor's degree (in business administration; in other fields: check here) or equivalent degree.
- Higher secondary school certificate (Diploma, Abitur, Matura, ...).
- English language certificate (TOEFL or equivalent; only for students whose native language is not English).
- If you have GMAT or GRE test results, do enclose those as well.
- Professional certificates and/or certificates issued by employer (if applicable).
- Photo (print), not older than 3 months.
Copies of degrees, school certificates, and English language certificate must be attested by a notary public (or by an authority legitimated to do official attestations in your country). If you are in doubt where to go, turn to a German consulate and ask them for advise.
Admission and payment
Upon receival of the documents, your application will be examined immediately with regard to formal, technical and personal requirements. If you are selected from the candidates an admission letter is issued by EUV and sent to you by electronic mail. This letter will state that you are admitted to the MBI program provided that tuition for the first semester is received by the beginning of the semester (details to be provided with admission letter).
Enrollment
You will be officially registered as an MBI student at the VGU School of Business Informatics and formally enrolled at EUV automatically as soon your tuition is received. Note that you are not required to appear personally

MBI program
The MBI program is delivered through a cooperation between VGU and the European University Viadrina.
The MBI program was initially developed in English under a grant by the German Federal Ministry for Education and Research in the program "New media in education". Starting in summer semester 2010, the MBI program can be studied as a German language program as well.
