Academics
MBI program structure
The MBI program is a complete master's program leading to the degree of an "International Master of Business Informatics" (MBI). This program was started in October 2001. It is accredited both by government and by ACQUIN. The master's degree is awarded by the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) in Germany, in a cooperation with VGU. While the latter one provides expertise and teaching for the program, EUV is responsible for ensuring that the academic and educational standards of the program are maintained at an appropriate level. This cooperation ensures that the master's degree is an official degree fully recognized by German law.
Certificate Courses
A number of courses on important IT and management topics are offered as individual courses. VGU issues certificates for successful participation. Actually, many courses of the MBI program can be attended stand-alone as well.
